Why do I install the ChatGPT app?
The ChatGPT app lets you use Codex to build and update your site through conversation. Tell AI what you want to create or change, and it helps you work on the files. You can also use other supported AI coding apps, such as Claude, Antigravity, or Cursor.
What does JoripSpace do?
JoripSpace provides the server, database, and file storage your site needs. AI helps you build it, and JoripSpace publishes it on the internet and keeps it running so visitors can use it.
Can I get started without knowing how to code?
You can start by describing what you want to build in everyday language. AI helps write and edit the code. Begin with a simple site, open the result, and tell AI what you want to change. More complex features may take several rounds of questions, testing, and fixes.
What should I ask AI to do first?
After connecting your project, try something specific, such as “Build a company website with a company overview, service information, and a contact page.” Explain who the site is for and what you want visitors to do. If you are unsure, ask AI to help organize your ideas by asking you questions.
Do visitors need to install an app too?
Visitors can open your published site in a browser on their phone or computer. They do not need to install ChatGPT or JoripSpace. The AI app is for the person building and managing the site.
What is free?
You can create a project on JoripSpace’s Free plan and publish your site at its default address. See the pricing page for included usage and available features. Codex in ChatGPT includes a free usage allowance, so we recommend installing the ChatGPT app if you are getting started. AI apps such as ChatGPT have their own usage limits and subscription terms, separate from JoripSpace.
Can I change my site after publishing it?
Yes. Connect to the same project and ask AI for the changes you want, such as “Update the company introduction” or “Add a contact button.” Review the changes, then ask AI to deploy them so visitors can see the updated site.
Does my site keep running when I close the AI app?
A site deployed to JoripSpace runs on JoripSpace’s servers, so visitors can access it even when your AI app is closed or your computer is off. Open the AI app again when you want to build or update the site. Tasks that run only on your own computer still need that computer to be running.
What can AI do once connected, and how do I disconnect it?
Within the projects your account can access and the permissions granted to the connection, AI can help update and deploy your site and read or edit project data. The available actions depend on your project role and connection permissions. To stop access, disable the relevant token under Profile → API tokens.
